Problem: The client is a fast-growing pizza brand owned by the 2nd largest Food services company in Nigeria. We were tasked with creating nationwide awareness for the Pizza Jungle Black Friday PROMO which was aimed at growing the adoption of its mobile apps and website as the fastest and most convinient channels for ordering pizzas across the country.

Strategy: We broke the campaign with advertorial publications which were also amplified across Social Media channels by digital media platforms with cult following among our target audiences. We also engaged one of the largest communities of Nigerians on Facebook to drive talkability and participation in the promo. To drive customer adoption through WoM, testimonials and product sampling, we partnered with Instagram and TikTok micro influencers across all geo-political zones in Nigeria to create and promote authentic stories about Pizza Jungle and the the Black Friday PROMO. Our micro influencers in Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Benin, Enugu, Uyo and Ilorin made exciting videos to share the awesome experiences they had with the large Pizzas, toppings and friendly staff in the outlets we engaged.

Results: Pizza Jungle and the Black Friday Promo were mentioned more than 3,000 times across web and social channels. The campaign messages and hashtags were seen more than 260 million times online, drawing more than 74 million engagements. 92% of the consumer sentiment were positive endorsements and nuetral comments which show how deligthed Pizza Jungle has made Nigerians over the course of the campaign. Also, Pizza Jungle and #PizzaJungleBlackFriday trended 4 times on Twitter (X) top 10 during the campaign.
