Problem: The client is a Lagos state agency under the Ministry of Science and Technology which was founded during COVID-19 pandemic to support entrepreneurs, startups founders, researchers and students with non-equity funding to build out their ideas or expand their businesses. We got the brief to help with the agency’s story, vision, achievements and future plans in a unique, creative and data-driven way.. 

Strategy: We worked with the agency’s council and Measurement & Evaluation team to develop an engaging documentary and series of infographics that showcase businesses and ideas that the client had funded directly or through partner accelerator programs. We also established the impacts of these beneficiaries on the lives of people and companies in Lagos state within 3 years.

Results: In 1 month, we delivered a documentary and 5 infographics summarizing the agency’s N628 million support to 93 beneficiaries across 9 business sectors. We also cleaned and analyzed the agency’s Measurement & Evaluation data to help its Council understand the gender balance, growth stages, percentage of total investment by sectors which it will use to improve its future programs.
