Ads don’t sell any brand, product or service. Tell any advertiser you know that I said they are wasting money.
Sincerely, ads can be boring, predictable and become a plague that people avoid at all cost WHEN:
1. they don’t tell a story
2. show how much the brand cares
3. genuinely help customers meet a need or solve a problem.
After carefully studying some of the greatest ads of all time (eg: Apple’s Think Different), I found out they all have something in common. They serve at least one of these 6 purposes that make them very relatable to their target audiences.
